Mark Schaukowitch is running for the Kansas legislature in House District 110! A boomerang who grew up in Plainville, left, and came back home, Mark has undergraduate degrees in speech and political science and a masters in rhetoric. Since returning home, Mark has worked tirelessly to build rural power through economic development and political change. As a former teacher, a founding member of the Transparent Opportunities Speaker Series in Plainville, a technical and grant writer, and a part-time server at the Handlebar Tavern & Eatery, Mark is always looking to empower people to develop resources, access funding opportunities, and create lasting friendships.
